Lifting Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a certified Lifting Engineer to lead lifting operations on an infrastructure development project in Riyadh/Diriyah. The role ensures all lifting activities, heavy equipment deployment, and rigging plans are engineered, reviewed, and executed safely according to international and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve standard and critical lifting plans, including tandem lifts and crane configurations.
• Monitor deployment and compliance of heavy equipment, rigging hardware, and lifting tackle on‑site.
• Enforce strict adherence to international lifting standards and internal HSE protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of lifting gear, machinery, and ground conditions before lifts.
• Coordinate with rigging teams, lift supervisors, and equipment operators to ensure execution matches engineered plans.

Required profile

• LEEA certification (Part 1/2 or diploma) – mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on lifting engineering, rigging, and heavy equipment management experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience on civil infrastructure, earthworks or heavy construction sites; experience in KSA or Diriyah is an advantage.
• Professional command of written and spoken English.
