Linux Administrator L1/L2 – Enterprise Support

About the role

Excis is seeking a Linux Administrator (L1/L2) to join its Saudi Arabia team. You will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance for critical business services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability, performing routine administration tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system issues, escalating complex incidents when needed.
• Support advanced Linux services such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
• Create and maintain shell scripts and Ansible playbooks for automation.
• Provide operational support for VMware‑based virtual machines.
• Assist with containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Administer storage solutions, including LVM and RAID configurations.
• Apply security best practices, manage firewalls, encryption, and address compliance findings.
• Support backup and disaster‑recovery processes for Linux systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Linux, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Familiarity with security, backup, and compliance procedures.
