Logistics Officer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Logistics Officer will plan, coordinate and control logistics operations for construction projects, ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials, equipment and tools to and from sites. Working closely with procurement, project management, engineering and suppliers, the role supports safe and on‑schedule deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of construction materials, equipment, tools and supplies.
• Arrange transportation, delivery schedules and site access in collaboration with project and logistics teams.
• Handle customs clearance for imported items and track shipments to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Prepare and maintain logistics plans aligned with project schedules and milestones.
• Develop reports on material movement, deliveries and logistics performance.
• Support site teams in planning deliveries according to storage capacity and work fronts.
• Manage heavy‑equipment and oversized transportation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, company policies and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating logistics for construction or similar large‑scale projects.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and freight forwarding.
• Ability to develop logistics plans and generate performance reports.
• Strong collaboration skills with procurement, engineering, warehouse and site teams.
