Logistics Officer

About the role

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee inbound and outbound shipments, manage customs documentation and ensure smooth logistics operations in Jubail and surrounding ports.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders and transport companies to arrange trailers and containers for inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Manage the full logistics cycle, from shipment planning and execution to follow‑up.
• Prepare and verify local customs documentation, including import declarations, export paperwork and clearance files for Jubail and other ports.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and handle import/export clearance for sea and land freight.
• Prepare monthly logistics reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support the supply chain and production.
• Negotiate shipping rates, transport charges and logistics terms to ensure cost‑effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with regional logistics regulations, customs requirements and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on SAP experience, preferably in logistics or supply‑chain modules.
• Proven experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders and transport companies.
• Strong understanding of regional import and export clearance documentation.
• Knowledge of ZATCA customs procedures, FASAH system and other port operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
