Logistics Officer

About the role

Alkaffary Group is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join its logistics team in Unaizah. The role facilitates the movement of goods and ensures efficient supply chain operations, coordinating inventory management, transportation oversight and documentation. The goal is to optimise logistics workflows while complying with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management and order fulfilment.
• Maintain and update records of inventory levels and shipments.
• Collaborate with suppliers, transportation companies and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare shipment documentation such as invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure schedule compliance and handle issues that arise.
• Analyse logistics data to identify areas for process improvement.
• Assist in budget management and cost control within the logistics department.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while keeping attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
