Logistics Operations Lead - Manufacturing & Distribution

About the role

The Logistics Operations Lead will oversee day‑to‑day logistics execution for a high‑volume manufacturing and distribution organization in Saudi Arabia. This hands‑on leadership position ensures accurate, timely and compliant movement of raw materials and finished goods across warehousing, inventory, dispatch, transportation and shipment coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Execute logistics activities across warehousing, inventory management, dispatch, transportation and shipment coordination.
• Lead and supervise frontline logistics teams, ensuring adherence to service level targets.
• Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, transport providers and customs brokers.
• Monitor and resolve operational delays, errors and bottlenecks.
• Manage third‑party logistics providers and transport partners.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost control and process consistency.

Required profile

• Proven logistics experience in manufacturing, industrial, building‑materials or high‑volume distribution environments.
• Hands‑on exposure to freight forwarding and customs documentation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead logistics teams in fast‑paced settings.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort handling operational escalations.
• Experience operating in Saudi Arabia or similar GCC markets is a plus.
