Loss Prevention Officer – Riyadh

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees and assets at the Marriott Riyadh hotel. You will patrol the property, monitor security systems and respond quickly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms and fire‑life safety system.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR or contact EMS as needed.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and call for external assistance when necessary.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Escort unwelcome persons and report vehicle accidents or thefts.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in loss prevention, security or related field.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies.
