Maintenance Technician – Elevator Service

About the role

KONE is looking for a Maintenance Technician with a service mindset to provide professional service to its customers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role sits at the core of KONE's service operations, ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, and promoting regular, proactive on-site communication with customers and equipment users.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance checks and tasks, and attend call-outs.
• Manage customer relationships through quality service and precise, proactive on-site communication (e.g., call-out ETA, work performed).
• Report work done accurately and in real time at the equipment level.
• Ensure equipment safety and performance, identify site risks and escalate them immediately, and take action on high-risk situations.
• Identify unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs.
• Carry out planned maintenance, call-outs and service repairs safely, within schedule and time limits, and raise sales leads to the supervisor.
• Keep service tooling, van and instruments safe, maintained and in good condition.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational certificate, Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of solid preventive maintenance experience with a reputable elevator company.
• Good verbal and written English; candidates with basic IT and digital skills preferred.
