Manager, Internal Audit

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Internal Audit to safeguard company assets and enhance governance. The role involves leading audit engagements from planning through fieldwork, ensuring recommendations are implemented, and supporting risk assessments for the annual audit plan.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements, including fieldwork and reporting.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations through follow‑up audits and report gaps.
• Draft audit reports detailing observations, evidence, and recommendations.
• Perform audit procedures to test controls and verify their effectiveness.
• Update the Head of Internal Audit on progress, issues, and significant internal control matters.
• Assist in risk assessments for the annual audit plan.
• Liaise with external auditors, inspectors, and regulators as directed.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA or ACCA are preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management or related areas.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and risk assessment.
• Ability to draft clear audit reports and communicate findings.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
