Manager - International Freight and Clearing

About the role

The Manager – International Freight and Clearing will lead the end‑to‑end shipment process for Red Sea Coastal Trading Company, supporting Red Sea Global’s ambitious tourism and development projects across the Red Sea coast. The role ensures efficient, reliable and compliant movement of goods from origin to remote destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all shipment activities, including booking, documentation and customs clearance.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and carriers to guarantee timely delivery.
• Arrange transportation modes such as trucking, sea freight and air freight to meet shipment requirements.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, bills of lading, commercial invoices and export/import paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Track shipments, monitor performance and resolve delays or issues proactively.
• Optimize routes and shipping methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with logistics team members to streamline overall supply chain performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, international shipping or related logistics functions.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and trade regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational challenges quickly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs clearance processes.
• Familiarity with documentation standards such as bills of lading and commercial invoices.
• Experience in coordinating multimodal transportation (road, sea, air).
• Proficiency in shipment tracking and logistics management tools.
