Manager – Procurement Controls and Support Services

About the role

The Controls and Support Services group within Procurement Services seeks a seasoned manager to lead quality assurance, safety, and procurement systems functions. You will oversee multiple sub‑teams, ensure compliance with policies, and drive continuous improvement across the procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the Quality Assurance Specialist to review procurement transactions, assess internal controls, and produce audit reports.
• Guide the Safety Officer in developing safety programs, conducting technical reviews, and leading incident investigations.
• Lead the Procurement Systems team to design, implement, and maintain ERP procurement and supply‑chain applications.
• Collaborate with IT and operational managers to align business requirements with policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver training on procurement policies, processes, and systems to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing procurement‑related functions such as quality assurance, safety, or systems.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, compliance monitoring, and audit methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with IT and operational units.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
