Manager - SME Sales Specialist

About the role

The SME Sales Specialist Manager will lead the growth of Mastercard’s SME card and payment solutions in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh. Reporting to the SME Cluster Lead, the role focuses on consultative selling to financial and non‑financial partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client opportunities, develop propositions, and recommend card and payment solutions that support client revenue and profitability.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline, conduct on‑site client interactions, perform needs assessments, and position solutions across financial institutions and non‑financial partners.
• Originate and convert new business, develop SME ecosystem plays, and drive commercialization of signed deals to deliver measurable revenue outcomes.
• Contribute to SME P&L objectives across key customers and Saudi Arabia, aligning with regional sales priorities.
• Identify product, proposition, and business‑innovation opportunities within SME payment segments.
• Act as a client‑facing SME cards and payments consultant, diagnosing needs, shaping recommendations, and enabling execution with sales, product, and market teams.
• Operate as an individual contributor, collaborating cross‑functionally to achieve disciplined sales execution.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience with a consultative mindset, preferably in payments or financial services.
• Ability to understand client needs and translate opportunities into commercial outcomes.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with financial institutions and partners.
• Track record of managing pipelines and delivering measurable revenue results.
• Willingness to work onsite in Riyadh and travel for client engagements.
