Manager - Station Design

About the role

The Manager – Station Design will lead the design process for a series of rail stations within a major rail mega‑project in Saudi Arabia. This client‑facing position focuses on coordinating schedules, approvals and information flow rather than producing technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for design‑process matters related to the Upper Plateau Stations.
• Organise and lead regular design coordination meetings, capture actions and decisions, and ensure follow‑up.
• Maintain the design management plan, detailed process schedules and approval milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs (architecture, civil/structural, MEP, systems, safety, accessibility, operations) according to agreed timelines.
• Manage interface coordination between station design and adjacent assets such as track, viaducts, utilities and public realm.
• Support change‑control procedures, documenting and processing design modifications.
• Track progress, prepare status reports and communicate updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in design coordination or project management for large infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a focus on process management.
