Managing Director – Saudi Joint Venture

About the role

HMH is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Saudi Joint Venture, driving growth, operational excellence, and strong customer partnerships in the Kingdom. Reporting to the Joint Venture Board of Directors, you will be the primary leader of the business while collaborating with regional, global, and functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall strategy, growth agenda, and financial performance of the Saudi Joint Venture.
• Own P&L results, delivering revenue, profitability, cash flow, and working‑capital targets.
• Translate Board direction into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and disciplined execution.
• Strengthen alignment between the JV, the Board of Directors, and HMH regional and global functions.
• Build trust with shareholders, customers, employees, and HMH leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and customer success.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong commercial and operational judgment in a complex, matrix environment.
• Ability to align Board priorities, customer needs, and company capabilities into a clear business strategy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
