Manufacturing Professional – Materials Planning and Execution

About the role

The Manufacturing Professional will partner with sales, commercial, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams to plan and schedule the materials needed to execute business orders. You will translate forecasts, sales orders and planned orders into physical material orders and ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule material and production to guarantee the shop has required materials, documentation, tooling and equipment.
• Coordinate material input/output, manage shortages and farm‑out material.
• Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
• Implement effective scheduling based on master schedule, cycle time, shop capacity and tooling availability.
• Monitor supply‑demand misalignment using the planning system and work with manufacturing sources to execute corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional efforts to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, manpower issues and capacity constraints.
• Analyze current production status, identify problem areas and maintain MRP system integrity.
• Update project teams with delivery dates for open orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• 2–3 years of experience in production planning or supply chain.
• Hands‑on experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Project.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to execute tactically.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
