Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shop‑floor operations, ensure production plans are executed safely and efficiently, and maintain high quality standards. The role involves coordinating daily work allocation, managing manpower and equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assigned manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to safety, efficiency, and priority guidelines.
• Allocate daily work, monitor manpower utilization, equipment availability, and material readiness to meet production schedules.
• Review production priorities, open work orders, and critical customer requirements before assigning tasks.
• Track shop‑floor progress, update production status, and escalate capacity, material, quality, or equipment risks.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, instructions, routings, quality requirements, and SOPs.
• Control WIP movement, coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Support first‑piece checks, in‑process inspections, and timely closure of quality concerns.
• Analyse productivity, rework, scrap, overtime and non‑conformance trends and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor machine breakdowns and maintenance needs to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift handovers and ensure clear communication between shifts.
• Lead improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing, 5S, cycle‑time reduction and standard work.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar production environment.
• Proven ability to manage shop‑floor teams, coordinate resources and meet production targets.
