MDG Functional Consultant

About the role

An MDG Functional Consultant is needed in Saudi Arabia to lead SAP Master Data Governance implementations and support. The role covers configuration, data modelling, mass consolidation, data replication and UI modelling, working closely with SAP functional and master data teams. The work pattern is in person.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP MDG implementation and support activities
• Configure and maintain BRF+ workflows, change requests and MDGIMG
• Conduct data validations, derivations and process modelling
• Design and troubleshoot workflows, change requests, mass change requests and multi-object processing
• Work with standard and custom data models across Materials, Finance and EAM
• Manage MDG mass consolidation and processing tasks
• Collaborate on MDG Hub and co-deployed solutions with downstream systems
• Handle data replication via IDOCs, SOA, services and proxy integration
• Deliver UI modelling and support stabilization of MDG and ERP systems
• Define and enforce data governance policies with business stakeholders
• Run discovery sessions, support demonstrations and present new requirements
• Integrate with data warehousing systems and address master data quality issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant SAP MDG implementation and support experience
• SAP MDG certification and strong expertise in MDG and downstream processes
• English as the working language; excellent verbal and written English
• Track record of working with consultants and system integrators
