Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Alfanar is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create detailed mechanical system designs and schematics for a variety of building construction projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical system designs, schematics, and layout drawings for façade cladding, glazing, precast concrete, and architectural aluminum products.
• Perform load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to validate design efficiency and reliability.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems with overall building solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory codes.
• Identify and resolve design issues during implementation and stay updated on emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project requirements.
