Mechanical Engineer – Hospital Systems & Medical Gas

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in hospital systems and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) to join our team. The role involves reviewing designs, supervising installations, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards across hospital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify mechanical design drawings, calculations and specifications for accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Supervise the installation, testing and compliance of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems in line with codes such as HTM 02‑01 and NFPA 99.
• Oversee mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing and fire‑protection systems tailored for hospital facilities.
• Ensure all mechanical infrastructure meets infection‑control, cleanroom and isolation‑room ventilation standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project managers and hospital authorities to resolve design discrepancies and site queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in design review and site supervision for hospital or healthcare facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare mechanical infrastructure and international health facility codes.
