Mechanical Technician V

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician V to join our maintenance team in Jubail. The role provides ongoing support to field maintenance staff, contractors and vendors, ensuring that mechanical equipment is maintained, repaired and installed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide technical support to resolve maintenance and operational issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, systems, and documentation.
• Support maintenance planning, scheduling, and turnaround activities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Reliability, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a mechanical technician in the petrochemical or oil & gas sector.
• High attention to safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver high‑standard results.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Booster/Primary Compressor.
• Basic knowledge of Hyper Compressor.
• Basic knowledge of SAP (System Administrative Program).
