Medical Advisor – Saudi Arabia (Riyadh)

About the role

FarmaMondo, a fast‑growing Swiss pharmaceutical group, is seeking a Medical Advisor to lead medical affairs and scientific engagement across Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, the role focuses on rare disease therapeutics and involves extensive interaction with healthcare professionals, hospital networks, scientific societies and patient organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with rare‑disease HCPs, KOLs, hospital accounts, societies and patient groups; deliver balanced, compliant scientific information.
• Support patient access pathways, coordinate with Market Access and supply teams, and provide timely medical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and execute field activities aligned with FarmaMondo’s strategic objectives, contribute to business cases, and collaborate with Market Access, Commercial and Regulatory teams.

Required profile

• Pharmacist (BPharm/PharmD) or Medical Doctor (MD); advanced life‑science degree (MSc/PhD) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Scientific Liaison, Medical Advisor or similar field‑based Medical Affairs role.
• Hands‑on experience in rare diseases, neurology or haematology; knowledge of Saudi pharmaceutical regulations (SFDA) and access pathways.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; strong IT proficiency and comfort with digital tools.
