Medical Manager

About the role

In line with Novartis’s product strategy, the Medical Manager will act as a customer‑facing professional responsible for designing, implementing and executing Medical Affairs plans within an assigned therapy area. The role combines scientific expertise with stakeholder engagement to support evidence generation and educational dialogue.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to medical enquiries accurately, compliantly and promptly, creating standard response documents as needed.
• Provide medical and scientific input to clinical trial and research activities, including study initiation and oversight.
• Support local evidence‑generation initiatives such as non‑interventional studies and investigator‑initiated trials.
• Build scientific partnerships across the disease journey by engaging medical experts, supporting publications and contributing to data‑generation projects.
• Review and approve medical and promotional materials in line with local and global compliance requirements.
• Share actionable medical insights with cross‑functional teams including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Market Access, Quality and Commercial.
• Allocate time evenly between external stakeholder engagement (≈50%) and office‑based responsibilities (≈50%).

Required profile

• Degree in MD, PharmD or PhD.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry; neuroscience experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to build credible relationships with medical experts and key decision‑makers.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, evidence generation and the evolving therapeutic landscape.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

• Confidence using digital tools and data to support stakeholder engagement and insight gathering.
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills in a matrix environment.
