Medical Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Medical Procurement Specialist to ensure the timely and cost‑effective procurement of medical supplies, equipment, and consumables in line with organizational standards and departmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with medical departments to identify and validate procurement needs, ensuring alignment with clinical priorities.
• Source and communicate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best value offers for required items.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up until successful delivery and receipt, tracking each step of the process.
• Verify that all purchased items meet the required technical specifications and quality standards before acceptance.
• Manage vendor contracts, monitor performance, and track delivery timelines to maintain reliable supply.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate periodic reports for management review.
• Support procurement planning and supply‑chain optimization initiatives to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (medical background preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical procurement.
• Strong knowledge of the medical supply market and approved vendors.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office programs.
