MEP Engineer – Facilities Management (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The MEP Engineer will support the reliability, efficiency and compliance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across King Salman Energy Park (SPARK). The role involves inspection, maintenance and performance optimisation of MEP assets in buildings, substations, pumping stations and utility corridors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operational status of HVAC, water supply, drainage, fire protection, lighting, power distribution and pumping stations.
• Conduct site inspections, support maintenance activities and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and maintenance procedures submitted by contractors.
• Assist in implementing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and verify field work against SLAs.
• Maintain records of service reports, spare‑parts usage and contractor performance.
• Track electricity, water and chilled‑water consumption, identify abnormal trends and support energy‑efficiency measures.
• Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, SPARK standards and international codes such as SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC and IEC.

Required profile

• Experience supporting MEP systems in industrial or large‑scale facilities.
• Familiarity with local Saudi regulations and international codes (SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IEC).
• Ability to work with senior engineers, FM teams and external service providers.
