MEP Manager – Site Engineering Lead

About the role

The MEP Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering activities on site, ensuring technical excellence from tender hand‑over through construction completion. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will act as the primary bridge between the site engineering team, BIM/Design team and client consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and support the Pre‑Construction Manager in robust tendering and risk identification.
• Conduct design reviews to verify calculations, engineering parameters and compliance with local codes.
• Coordinate RIBA stage drawings, shop drawings and as‑built documentation to achieve Code A status.
• Develop and maintain the Project Engineering Plan in line with JEG SOPs and project schedule.
• Prepare sub‑contractor scopes of work and ensure comprehensive coverage of all deliverables.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of Discipline Project Engineers and resolve construction design issues.
• Provide inputs to change management, risk and opportunity registers in collaboration with QS and Project Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in MEP engineering on large construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and interface with BIM/Design and client consultants.
• Strong knowledge of local mandatory codes and construction best practices.
