Merchandiser – Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Merchandiser to oversee daily store visits across supermarkets and hypermarkets in Riyadh. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, proper shelf placement, accurate pricing, and compliance with planograms while supporting promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned supermarkets and hypermarkets following a daily route plan.
• Verify on‑shelf availability (OSA) and stock on hand (SOH), reporting out‑of‑stock items.
• Maintain planogram compliance, correct product placement, and pricing accuracy.
• Monitor expiry dates and apply FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Capture before‑and‑after photos of displays and shelves.
• Report issues such as damaged products, missing tags, or pricing errors.
• Coordinate with store staff to improve visibility and request replenishment.
• Submit daily and weekly reports on OSA, SOH, travel distance, and merchandising activities.
• Support new product launches and promotional displays.

Required profile

• High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–5+ years experience in FMCG, retail, or supermarket merchandising.
• Familiarity with major Saudi retail chains (e.g., Tamimi, Panda, Carrefour, Lulu).
• Valid Saudi driving licence (or transferable Iqama for non‑Saudis).
• Good English communication; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use smartphones for GPS, photo capture, and mobile reporting.
