Merchandiser Team Leader

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Merchandiser Team Leader to drive product visibility and sales performance across assigned retail outlets. You will lead a team of merchandisers, analyze sales data, and implement display strategies that maximize brand impact.

Key responsibilities

• Compare sales data for assigned products and recommend corrective actions when performance is low.
• Adjust product displays, relocate items within stores, and ensure compliance with approved planograms.
• Monitor daily call‑on plans for specific outlets and execute merchandising activities according to the journey plan.
• Place and maintain POS materials, rotate stock using FIFO, and remove sub‑standard items.
• Maintain clean, well‑stocked shelves and report competitive activities.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with customers or outlets.

Required profile

• Experience managing a direct sales or merchandising team.
• Service‑level orientation with a focus on execution standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of planograms and retail merchandising standards.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory rotation.
• Ability to manage POS material placement.
