Millwright Superintendent – Construction Site Manager

About the role

The Millwright Superintendent leads the delivery of industrial millwright services on assigned construction sites. Reporting to the Millwright Industrial Manager, this role ensures safe, profitable, and efficient day‑to‑day operations while coordinating all on‑site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise foremen, leadmen, craft laborers and apprentices, assigning tasks based on skill and training.
• Prioritize work, schedule activities, and coordinate resources to meet project timelines.
• Conduct site walks with customers and owners, address constructability issues, and propose solutions.
• Prepare and submit documentation such as timecards, inspection reports, bills of lading, QC articles, and as‑built drawings.
• Act as project manager on smaller jobs, planning daily activities and managing resources.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and agencies to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in millwright or related mechanical trades.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary crews in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA) and certification requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with clients, owners, and internal teams.
