Network Security Engineer

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join its Security Transformation team in Jeddah. The role focuses on operating, supporting and continuously improving a range of network security services across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Web Application Firewall (F5 WAF), Network Detection and Response (Darktrace), DDoS protection (Arbor) and firewall policy analysis (AlgoSec) solutions.
• Perform malware analysis and threat detection using FortiSandbox.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate network and application‑layer events, and support incident detection, containment and escalation.
• Administer network security devices, ensuring secure configuration, availability and performance.
• Execute patching, upgrades and signature updates following approved processes.
• Identify operational gaps and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist in troubleshooting network and security issues, including traffic analysis and packet capture.
• Maintain operational documentation, support audits and reporting activities.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior teams or vendors as required.

Required profile

• Professional experience in Network Security or Information Security roles.
• Hands‑on experience with NDR, F5 firewalls/load balancers, DDoS protection solutions, firewall policy tools, sandbox/malware analysis platforms and Web Application Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of traffic analysis, threat detection and incident‑response processes.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.
