Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain a secure network infrastructure that protects our systems and data from cyber threats. The role involves managing security technologies, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards. You will work closely with IT and security teams to enforce a Zero Trust architecture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Deploy, configure, and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN solutions, and Network Access Control (NAC) systems.
• Monitor security events, analyze alerts, and lead incident response activities.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Perform network segmentation and apply Zero Trust principles to limit lateral movement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of network security configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into new projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network security engineering or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
