About the role

The King Faisal Specialist Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Clinician to join its Pediatric Inpatient Ward. This role focuses on delivering safe, patient‑centered care while fostering professional development and mentorship for nursing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support safe, family‑focused patient care on the pediatric inpatient unit.
• Provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with education coordinators to design and deliver unit‑level educational programs.
• Act as a preceptor and mentor for nursing students and new staff, ensuring competence development.
• Serve as a clinical role model, promoting evidence‑based practice and continuous quality improvement.
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams on nursing practice for diverse patient populations.
• Lead initiatives based on nurse‑sensitive indicator data to achieve benchmark results.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
• Four years of nursing experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or six years with an Associate degree.
• Current RN licensure from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Experience as a preceptor, completion of a preceptor course, and teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting.
