OJT Instructor

About the role

The OJT Instructor will provide both practical and theoretical training on the CASA C295 aircraft to customer technicians. The role ensures students achieve the required competency standards and are ready to perform efficiently after the on‑the‑job training phase.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the OJT/training programme for the customer, monitoring trainee performance against objectives.
• Develop and deliver OJT training programmes, checklists, visual aids and general training instructions.
• Conduct mandatory and non‑mandatory training sessions such as Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS.
• Track student progress using customer‑specified formats and recommend additional skill development.
• Maintain current B1/B2 licences through recurrent training and participate in MRO duties as required.
• Create and deliver additional training modules as directed by the training manager.

Required profile

• EASA Part‑66 B1 and/or B2 licence (or military equivalent).
• Type rating on the C295 aircraft.
• Completion of a nationally recognised “Train the Trainer” course.
• Minimum three years of maintenance experience on the C295.
• Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak).
• Previous experience in an MRO environment; trainer experience preferred.
