Operations and Data Associate

About the role

East40 is seeking an Operations and Data Associate to serve as the operational and data backbone for its Shared Resources Team. The role will support portfolio companies, a strategic partnership with a leading US venture capital firm, and other stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer core data systems (HubSpot CRM, Notion, Airtable, deal‑tracking tools) ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, market‑intelligence views, and operational KPIs.
• Design and implement workflows for deal intake, portfolio onboarding, talent sourcing, and event management.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations between the strategic partner and East40’s Shared Services Team.
• Act as a power user of Notion, HubSpot, Airtable, Google Workspace and project‑management platforms, introducing lightweight automations.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in operations, business operations, PMO, data management or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Information Systems or similar.
• Experience in family offices, investment firms or high‑growth environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
