Performance Management Specialist

About the role

The Performance Management Specialist will design, implement and continuously improve First Gulf Company’s performance management framework for its 4,000+ workforce. Working within the HR function, the role embeds KPI‑based and Balanced Scorecard methodologies across the Systems Integration, Construction & MEP, and Facility Management divisions, supporting the company’s people strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and refine a company‑wide performance management framework aligned with strategic objectives.
• Develop standardized performance templates, rating scales and evaluation criteria for all roles.
• Lead the annual goal‑setting cycle, cascade KPIs to teams and individuals, and coach managers on SMART objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end appraisal cycles, mid‑year check‑ins and annual reviews, ensuring timely completion and calibration.
• Analyse performance data, produce dashboards and reports, and present insights to HR leadership.
• Design and deliver training for managers on performance conversations and feedback.
• Partner with L&D to link performance outcomes to development plans and with Compensation to reflect ratings in rewards and promotions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related field.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven experience designing and operating performance management systems in large organisations.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for interacting with managers and employees.
