Pharmacist

About the role

The pharmacist will work within the hospital pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications. This role supports patient care by reviewing prescriptions, providing medication counseling, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescribed medications in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Verify prescriptions for appropriateness, correct dosage, potential drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, including inventory management, storage, and handling of medications.
• Support compliance with medication safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm, PharmD, or equivalent).
• Valid professional registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory authority.
• 1‑3 years of experience in pharmacy practice, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
