Pharmacist

About the role
The pharmacist will work within the hospital pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing of medications and provide pharmaceutical care to patients in line with hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescribed medications accurately according to approved policies and procedures.
- Verify prescriptions for appropriateness, correct dosage, potential drug interactions and contraindications.
- Provide medication counselling and education to patients and healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain precise pharmacy records and ensure proper storage and handling of all medicines.
- Support compliance with medication safety standards, regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm, PharmD or equivalent).
- Valid professional registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory authority.
- 1‑3 years of experience in pharmacy practice, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
