Pharmacist – Medication Dispensing & Patient Care

About the role

The pharmacist will ensure accurate dispensing of medications, provide drug information, and support patient safety in accordance with Saudi health regulations. This role combines clinical counseling with rigorous inventory and compliance management.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions and contraindications.
• Dispense medicines and vaccines, delivering clear usage instructions and counseling patients on side effects.
• Monitor pharmacy inventory, record stock movements, prepare reorder requests and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Inspect expiration dates, quarantine and dispose of expired or damaged products following regulatory protocols.
• Maintain compliance with SFDA, MOH and SCFHS regulations, including precise record‑keeping of controlled substances.
• Act as a clinical resource for physicians and nursing staff, advising on drug alternatives, dosing adjustments and interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
