Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

The Pharmacist will work full‑time on‑site at a Zahrat Al‑Rawdah pharmacy in Riyadh, dispensing medications, counseling customers and ensuring compliance with Saudi health regulations. The role combines clinical expertise with customer‑service focus in a high‑traffic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medicines and verify prescriptions for correctness.
• Provide medication counseling on dosage, usage, side‑effects and drug interactions.
• Maintain patient, prescription and inventory records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Manage medication storage conditions, stock rotation and controlled‑substance handling.
• Support health‑awareness campaigns and promotional activities within the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient, customer‑centered service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Valid pharmacist licence to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosage forms and therapeutic uses.
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings.
• Fluency in Arabic; working proficiency in English is highly beneficial.
