Pipeline Engineer - Oil & Gas EPC

About the role

CPECC, a leading EPC contractor in the oil and gas industry, is hiring a Pipeline Engineer for its oil and gas EPC pipeline projects in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh. The engineer leads pipeline engineering activities and supervises construction and commissioning on large-scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage pipeline engineering activities for large-scale EPC oil and gas projects.
• Review and approve pipeline design drawings, isometrics and engineering documents.
• Supervise pipeline construction, installation and field fit-up.
• Manage hydrostatic testing, pigging and pre-commissioning.
• Coordinate with the client (Saudi Aramco), subcontractors and multi-discipline teams.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES), ASME and international codes.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Track progress and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Mentor and manage local and expatriate pipeline teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in oil and gas pipeline construction and installation (EPC projects).
• Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Chinese is a plus.
• Valid Saudi Iqama or willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAES, ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8.
• Pipeline welding, NDT, hydrotesting and commissioning.
• Reading P&ID, isometrics and engineering drawings.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
