Project Manager - Elevators and Escalators

About the role

KONE is looking for a Project Manager in Riyadh to manage the scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on proactive, continuous collaboration with the customer. The role plans, directs and coordinates project activities so that objectives are met within the agreed timeline and budget, using approved KONE methodologies and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects within contractual requirements and KONE objectives, ensuring business success and customer satisfaction
• Manage project deliverables, integrated project planning and full-chain project monitoring and control
• Handle project start-up, reviews, reporting and governance, and communicate status and progress to management and the customer
• Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, including contingency planning and recovery actions
• Plan and forecast finances, manage cash flow and revenue, and capitalise on change order opportunities
• Drive the sales-to-operations handover, handovers to the customer and maintenance, and project closing
• Maintain the master action log and lessons learned, and plan and lead the full-chain project team
• Create and maintain safety and security awareness among employees and subcontractors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Project Management role
• Proven experience in the elevator and escalator industry
• Fluency in Arabic is essential; excellent command of English
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
