Planning Engineer – Water Transmission

About the role

WSP is looking for a Planning Engineer to lead scheduling, monitoring and reporting for large‑scale water transmission and pipeline projects in Jubail.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery schedules and look‑ahead plans.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Analyse performance and produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Track critical‑path activities and assess schedule impacts.
• Support claims analysis, extension of time (EOT) evaluations and change management.
• Review contractor schedules and validate progress against milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of planning experience on infrastructure projects, preferably water transmission, pipelines or utility works.
• Experience with EPC, design‑build or consultancy‑led project delivery.
