Plant Operations Manager

About the role

The Plant Operations Manager will lead the safe, compliant, and continuous operation of Wastewater Treatment Plant 3 (WWTP‑3). This senior position oversees the core team across all process areas, ensuring performance targets are met and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safe and compliant operation and maintenance of WWTP‑3.
• Ensure operational performance and KPI compliance, managing escalations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the employer, NWC, project interfaces, OEMs, and technology providers.
• Direct staffing, shift coverage, contingency planning, and readiness for additional train activation.
• Oversee handover, D&B/DNP interfaces, and operational readiness activities.
• Maintain personnel competency through training, performance evaluation, and cross‑training.

Required profile

• Experience managing comparable wastewater treatment facilities and multidisciplinary O&M teams.
• Strong 24/7 plant accountability with proven KPI and performance‑management skills.
• Experience with KSA WWTPs is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• SCADA system operation and troubleshooting.
• FCR (Facility Control Room) management.
• Wastewater treatment plant operations and equipment knowledge.
