Plastic Surgeon Consultant / Sr. Registrar

About the role

Saudi German Health is looking for an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join its surgical team as a Consultant / Senior Registrar. The role involves consulting with patients, planning and performing reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, and delivering high‑quality care throughout the surgical journey.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, review medical histories and assess treatment needs.
• Recommend and explain surgical and non‑surgical options, including risks and benefits.
• Perform a wide range of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries for trauma, burns, birth defects and aesthetic improvements.
• Prepare patients for surgery, ensure pre‑operative protocols are followed, and prescribe post‑operative medications.
• Provide comprehensive post‑operative care, patient education and follow‑up appointments, including suture removal.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical policies and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience post‑MD (or equivalent qualification).
• Licensed as a Consultant in the home country and eligible for or holding SCFHS classification.
• Proven expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage long hours and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and patient‑management abilities.
