PMO & Portfolio Management Consultant

About the role

Accenture is looking for a PMO & Portfolio Management Consultant to support the planning, governance, coordination, and reporting of multiple security‑related projects for a large banking client in Saudi Arabia. The role will establish and operate effective project and portfolio management practices across a complex environment involving many stakeholders, vendors, delivery teams, and business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a consolidated view of project status, priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, budgets and key decisions across the security‑related portfolio.
• Develop and update portfolio dashboards, executive reports and management updates for client leadership and Accenture stakeholders.
• Track portfolio performance against objectives, milestones, delivery plans and expected benefits, identifying cross‑project dependencies and capacity constraints.
• Establish, enhance and operate PMO processes, templates, reporting mechanisms, governance routines and delivery standards.
• Maintain project artefacts such as integrated master schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, meeting minutes and status reports.
• Support project managers and work‑stream leads in applying consistent project‑management discipline and ensuring complete, version‑controlled documentation.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, Accenture teams, third‑party vendors, technology, risk, compliance and business representatives, facilitating follow‑ups, meeting preparation and issue escalation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technology, transformation, risk, compliance or security‑related projects.
• Strong ability to deliver clear governance, accurate reporting, effective risk and issue management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience aligning projects to portfolio priorities, timelines, budgets and expected outcomes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to support executive updates and governance forums.
