Postdoctoral Researcher (Environmental & Water Resources)

About the role

The Center for Environmental and Water Solutions (CEWS) at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance applied research in water security, climate resilience, pollution control and circular economy. The role is based in Al‑Khobar and supports CEWS’s three flagship programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute interdisciplinary research projects aligned with industry and government needs.
• Develop and apply quantitative models, data‑analysis pipelines and digital tools for water and environmental systems.
• Publish findings in high‑impact peer‑reviewed journals and contribute to funded proposals.
• Mentor graduate students and collaborate with CEWS faculty and program leads.
• Engage with industry partners and government stakeholders to deliver decision‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• PhD in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Climate Science or a closely related field.
• Doctoral research directly related to water systems, environmental protection, pollution control, circular economy or climate resilience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative background with proven publication record.
