Principal Account Executive – Strategic Accounts (Riyadh)

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Principal Account Executive to lead transformative cloud and AI deals with strategic customers in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, you will own the go‑to‑market strategy for key accounts, drive revenue growth and shape how AWS partners with industry leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted C‑level relationships with strategic accounts across the Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner, Marketing and Customer Success teams to solve complex business and technical challenges.
• Identify and execute transformational opportunities, de‑risk deals and replicate success through scalable sales plays.
• Manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy and sales productivity using data‑driven metrics.
• Represent AWS at industry events and evangelize cloud and AI innovations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong ability to engage and influence senior executives and navigate enterprise decision‑making processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
