Principal Architect / General Manager – Architecture & Fit-Out

About the role

Burjline Builders is seeking an experienced Principal Architect / General Manager to lead architecture, interior design, fit‑out and signage operations across its portfolio of F&B, retail and hospitality projects. Based in Riyadh, the role combines design excellence with commercial leadership to drive growth beyond the current group‑focused projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall strategy, operations and business performance of the Architecture & Fit‑Out division.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of restaurant, café, retail and commercial fit‑out projects, ensuring timeliness, budget compliance and quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, designers, project managers and engineers.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings, technical documents and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and develop new external client opportunities across Saudi Arabia, building relationships with developers, brands and corporate customers.
• Lead client presentations, proposals, commercial negotiations and contract development.
• Monitor project profitability, budgets, resources and overall business performance.
• Establish efficient project management, design, quality and operational processes while ensuring compliance with Saudi building regulations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in architecture, interior design or fit‑out environments.
• Strong track record of managing large‑scale commercial projects from concept to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to grow a business, acquire new clients and expand market presence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of Saudi construction standards and regulatory requirements.
