Private Label Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Private Label Expert to lead product planning for our overseas business. You will shape the development and category management of Private Brand (PB) products, aligning strategies with local consumer needs and market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate product strategies and category structures based on local market insights and user behavior.
• Identify business opportunities, optimize assortment, and enhance product competitiveness through data analysis and market research.
• Lead end‑to‑end new product development, including selection, positioning, packaging, pricing, and marketing coordination.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, quality control, and operations to ensure effective execution of product plans.
• Build and iterate localized product management methodologies to professionalize the planning system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in merchandising, product planning, or procurement, preferably with Private Brand development.
• Strong market insight, data sensitivity, and ability to conduct independent market research and retail analysis.
• Excellent category planning and assortment strategy skills across diverse consumption scenarios.
• Proven project management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities, capable of launching products from concept to market.
• Highly proactive, results‑oriented, and adaptable in a fast‑changing environment.
• Experience in overseas product development or cross‑border retail is a plus.
• Proficiency in English as a working language is preferred.
