About the role

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems and infrastructure using monitoring tools and techniques.
• Analyze system logs and alerts to identify potential issues and vulnerabilities.
• Take proactive measures to ensure system performance, availability, and security.
• Create and maintain documentation for monitoring procedures and processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Recommend and implement improvements to monitoring tools and processes for continuous enhancement.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in proactive monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Proactive Monitoring Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
• Experience analyzing system logs and alerts to identify potential issues.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
