Procurement Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

SLS The Red Sea, a new lifestyle resort on the Red Sea coast with 150 rooms, five food and beverage venues and a spa, is building its team. As Procurement Manager you will lead the hotel's purchasing and procurement activities, working closely with Finance and operations to ensure quality, value and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage purchasing and procurement in line with operational needs and budget
• Develop procurement strategies supporting operational and financial objectives
• Forecast purchasing needs with department heads and ensure timely availability of goods and supplies
• Source, evaluate and onboard suppliers meeting SLS quality and service standards
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and commercial agreements
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, pricing, delivery, reliability and compliance
• Review purchase orders, contracts, quotations and vendor documentation
• Monitor procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain appropriate inventory and purchasing levels
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls and local regulations
• Manage supply chain risks and support sustainable sourcing
• Lead and develop the Purchasing team and maintain strong supplier and cross-departmental relationships

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management and cost control
• Good understanding of hotel purchasing, inventory management and procurement processes
• Strong English, written and spoken
• Leadership, stakeholder management and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Experience with procurement systems such as FutureLog, Adaco or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, negotiation and commercial skills
• Financial understanding and ability to manage budgets and analyse procurement costs
